Our reason for insisting Canvas Bags is straightforward: We exist to offer products, information and inspiration that help people reduce, re-use and recycle. Starting with the easy step of bringing your own reusable cloth bag to shop may seem unimportant, but it creates a "mindset." Like anything, the more people who take this simple step, the more it becomes the natural and right thing to do.
Oasis International has been a pioneer in the field of textiles products especially cotton bags. Today, people the world over have realized the importance of cutting down on the consumption of paper and plastic bags. Plastic bags add to the land fill and release harmful chemicals in the soil. Paper bags are destroyers of wood and therefore of trees. Cotton is eco-friendly, long lasting and ultimately biodegradable.
It is for this reason that Oasis also ventured into cotton products way back in 2007. It has a wide range of cotton bags like canvas bags, string bags, muslin bags, bread bags, vegetable and fruit bags, cosmetic bags and pouches.
Oasis offers its customers the option to choose any size, shape or color of the bags with the company logo and artwork printed on them. We have an in-house design team that can work on its customers ideas and specifications.
Our Canvas Bag products are well accepted by leading international companies as they are of excellent quality and at competitive price.
Gesso Textured White
Oasis gesso (texture white) is made for those artists who want to experience making their own canvas. Oasis gesso is a ready to use painting ground with a pure acrylic polymer base, applies rapidly and without difficulty and dries swiftly. Guarantees outstanding whiteness and covering power which is very important for canvas priming. Available in 250gms, 500gms and 1kg packing.
Gesso is an important art supply to get your canvas ready for painting.
Gesso is very similar to white acrylic paint, only thinner. It dries hard, making the surface more stiff.
Gesso prepares or primes the surface for painting, making the surface slightly textured and ready to accept acrylic paint. Without gesso, the paint would soak into the weave of the canvas.
The beauty of gesso is that you can apply it to nearly any surface, and then you can paint on that surface with acrylic paint. The possibilities are endless!
